The Florida Healthcare Engineering Association is a brilliant group of men and women with extensive experience in the healthcare engineering profession. We offer educational presentations and seminars to keep you informed of the latest codes and standards, best work practices and other information to further your knowledge.

The FHEA Educational Library is now online!  A series of instructional videos approved by the FHEA Board of Directors are planned especially for maintenance personnel with limited boiler, electrical, refrigeration and HVAC/R controls experience. 

These videos are 24-50 minutes in length covering various subjects such as pneumatic thermostats, fan systems controls, boilers, steam traps, basic electricity, air conditioning, refrigeration and residential furnaces.


Online-Managed Continuing Education/Training for Healthcare Engineers

MGI Systems, Inc., a company that has offered healthcare facility-related educational seminars/workshops and certificate courses since 1996, has introduced their new Learning Management System (LMS), a web-based curriculum geared toward Healthcare Engineer/Technicians in the electrical, mechanical and plumbing trades, as well as contractor’s technicians who perform services for the healthcare facility.
